Taylor M. Bacques
Taylor joined Kanner & Whiteley in 2023 after working across an expansive array of legal areas, ranging from admiralty and maritime law to international trade, as both a litigator and transactional attorney. His current practice is focused on complex litigation in the energy sector.
Taylor graduated from Tulane Law School, where he was a member and coach of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Moot Court Team and elected to the Order of Barristers upon graduation. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a major in Comparative Literature and a minor in Arabic Studies.
Taylor is a member of the State Bar of Louisiana and licensed to practice in all Louisiana state courts; the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana; and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
