On May 29, 2014 Kanner & Whiteley, L.L.C. secured a settlement of over $9.5 million on behalf of Attorney General James “Buddy” Caldwell to resolve the State’s claims in State of Louisiana v. Abbott Laboratories, Inc. et al., involving the off-label promotion and marketing of the drug Depakote®.
